Paid to save has gone

LARGE

You can now save around £100 - £1,000 more!!!

Our 3p per unit of electricity saved is now worth up to £3

We are now an approved provider to the National Grid.

When there is not enough electricity in the grid to match demand, you can now get paid to reduce your electricity usage, to help balance things out.

This helps keep costs down, the lights on, and less fossil fuels in our grid.

It’s a x100 increase!!!

Households can earn around £100, whilst businesses could earn around £250-1,000!

How much you actually earn is up to you, but the figures above represent the equivalent of saving about 3% of your annual electricity usage.

On top of your cash earnings, you will also save on your electricity bill - worth about another 50% of the cash you earn.

We are one of the few providers who pay cash

and not rewards points for participation!

  • When will this happen?

    November to March.

    Each session will be from about 1-4 hours long.

    You can decide to:

    • participate for all of it;

    • only part of it; or

    • not at all.

    You can decide differently for each session.

    All in all, there might be around 10-20 sessions in total.

  • How disruptive will it be?

    How much electricity you save is up to you. It might be as simple as deciding you won’t use high electricity usage items such as:

    • a washing machine;

    • dishwasher;

    • tumble dryer;

    • an electric cooker; and/ or

    • charging an EV.

    You can keep as much or as little on as you feel comfortable.

    It only applies to electricity so keeping your gas heating on won’t effect anything.

  • Will I be penalised if I don't deliver savings?

    There is no penalty for not saving electricity when you opted in to participate to a session. But obviously, you won’t earn any money.

    And the more often you do deliver savings, the more often you will be invited to participate in further sessions.

  • Who can join?

    Both households and businesses can participate.

    You need to have a working smart electricity meter or, if a business, a half hourly meter.

    You need to be over 18 years of age.
